If you have high blood sugar levels, you can eat a lot of protein without worrying about your blood sugar levels. Furthermore, eating protein also makes you full and content for a longer period of time, thus reducing your food cravings. Fishes such as salmon and rainbow trout have 0 gram sugar or 0 gram carhobydrate, which means you can eat the whole fish and your blood sugar levels will not rise.
Eggs
Eggs are notorious for increasing cholesterol level, however, studies have shown that eggs does not raise bad cholesterol. If you have pre-diabetes or diabetes, you can eat eggs everyday because they protein rich food with 0 score on the glycemic index.
Coffee
Studies have shown that drinking coffee regularly lowers the risk of Type-2 diabetes by 10 percent. So if you are pre-diabetes or diabetes, you can start drinking coffee and in the meantime lower your blood sugar levels. However, make sure you do not use refined sugar or cream in your coffee.

All kinds of berries are perfect for you if you are battling with blood sugar. Berries are not only low in glucose and low in calorie, but also are highly nutritious. Berries contain antioxidants that improves metabolism. You can eat berries like strawberries, blue berries, and black berries.
I think seafood like fishes doesn’t put the body system at risk of contracting diabetes. Steady exercises helps reduce the blood sugar level, and keeps the insulin working fine.
