Healthy Weight Loss is Not Impossible

A new year began and 4 months are gone. One of the most common goals or objectives that many people resolve to do each and every year is what? Weight loss. Right?

However, it doesn’t take long after you get started, you get discouraged or disheartened and write it off as chasing an elusive butterfly that you will never catch?

Yep! That’s what usually happens.

Wouldn’t a personal chef be nice?

For many of us, the difficulty in achieving this goal lies in the fact that we just don’t have any discipline. Especially when we go to the grocery store and they are giving out free samples of food!

Suppose we had a chef to prepare our meals for us?

You say: “Sure! If I were a celebrity like Sarah McLachlan. She has her personal chef who travels around with her. The chef grocery shops for her and prepares her meals. This way she doesn’t eat junk food while she’s on the road.”

There are lots of companies who offer meals prepared by chefs with the goal of helping you lose the weight and keep it off. You see these meal plans advertised all the time. Celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Marie Osmond serve as their spokespersons and endorse the products.

BistroMd promises healthy weight loss

I don’t recall seeing any televised advertisements for this particular company, but a visit to their website might convince you to try their weight loss product.

The company is BistroMD. The owners offer a diet plan that can help you accomplish your weight loss goals.  They offer a diet meal delivery plan, and they have customized plans for people with dietary restrictions like diabetic meals to keep your blood sugar in check; and gluten-free meals. Plus they have a program for women and a program for men.

Their diet and nutrition philosophy sounds practical.

“Don’t focus on eating less. Focus on eating better.”

The science behind their approach is also very practical.

No fad diets or gimmicks. Almost anybody can lose weight. But how many people can take it off and keep it off? For most people, their weight goes up and down which is very unhealthy. Healthy and long-term weight loss is achieved through a balanced nutrition plan that ensures that you receive the proper “macronutrients”. This means consuming appropriate amounts of lean protein, healthy fats, complex carbohydrates, etc.

It goes without saying that you have to add in the “stick to it” ingredient on your own.  It’s weight control.  Not mind control!

Eating healthy does not have to be hard and you do not have to give up taste and flavor. Sound like a plan that would interest you? Not sure if the men would be interested, but it should certainly interest the ladies. No cooking? We want in! With or without Nespresso and George Clooney! 🙂

Have you ever tried a BistroMD diet?
